How to prepare ginger tea?

4-6 slices of raw ginger

1 1/2  to  2 cups water

1/2 lime juice

1-2 tablespoons of hoeny Preparation Time – 10 Mintutes Yield – 1-2 cups of healthier and tastier Ginger Tea


  •  Slice the ginger into small parts. This will help to make more flavored and tastier ginger tea.
  • Boil the ginger in water for at least 10 minutes. If you really really want strong ginger tea, then boil it for 20 minutes. Otherwise 10 minutes is sufficient if you don’t prefer stronger tea. I like stronger tea:-)
  • You can also add 1-2 tulsi ( Holy Basil) leaves to add more medicinal properties.
  • Now remove it from heat and add lime juice and honey.
